In that capacity, he has travelled much of the country and had the opportunity to record and play classic local venues like The Sheldon Theatre, Old Rock House, Chesterfield Amphitheater and more. His style draws from writers and players such as Tony Rice, Norman Blake, Townes Van Zandt, Dan Tyminksi and Merle Haggard. Solo performances include a blend of traditional bluegrass, classic country, and folk music
